Atheneum Global Teacher Training College’s Early Childhood Care and Education Teacher Training Program is designed for both aspiring and presently working early childhood educators who can gain a deeper understanding of teaching young learners aged 0-5 years. This sensitive early childhood period needs special attention that can only be achieved if trained by a professional.
Three phases of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)
- Early, Middle and Adolescent Childrenhips.
- Early Childhood is defined as 8 years of birth where physical , cognitive, socioemotional and linguistic development occurs.
- The tested National Policies for Early Childhood Education have been developed in every developed country. Global Teacher Training at Atheneum is intended to train its candidates on these policies.
Key characteristics of the field aspiring teachers are:
- Teachers are supposed to show trust.
- Teachers should have knowledge quality, patience, attention and kindness.
- A mentor and guide should be the teacher.
- Teachers should be able to plan lessons.
- Teachers should play an active role in developing the Early Children's Care and Curriculum.
Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) is a program that thoroughly prepares a candidate and acquires the knowledge and experience needed to work in pre-schools.
